Google to Launch New Web Browser Named Google Chrome

Google has officially announced the launch of new open source web browser named Google Chrome. The web browser will go live in few hours from now across more than 100 countries, so watch out for this new web browser. The browser will be available for windows users only as the Mac and Linux versions are still awaited but we can expect them very soon. Google badly was in need of its web browser to compete with Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Remember Microsoft has recently launched Internet Explorer 8, Beta 2, browser which was seen as a blow to Google as it is capable of hiding user information which is very important for Google for its targeted advertising.
